While I have extensive training, knowledge and experience in many facets of therapy, I specialize in anxiety/depression disorders, family/couples and trauma therapy, as well as mood and personality disorders. Most of my clients experience many different issues and we address them all. Specifics below.
For over 13 years I have been counseling couples and families both individually and in group sessions. I find that when clients have the chance to work through issues and speak as a group in a guided session, the time together is often very effective. Individuals have the opportunity to address each other in a safe space while I oversee a productive and results-driven meeting.
It is my belief, as noted on my homepage, that everyone is struggling with something. Each of us face challenges that feel beyond our control. Simply put, while mental health is too often overlooked, it is just as important as our physical health. While we navigate our way through this turbulent year, we are all being faced with new challenges, different requirements, unique demands we never knew existed...and it is difficult, confusing, exhausting and often scary. These are uncharted territories and I am helping my clients make it through these trying and critical times.
I approach each of my patients with zero judgment, no pressure and an understanding that we are all, myself included, going through that something (big, small, simple, complicated, with others or alone). In all my years of therapy I have made it my priority to make sure that no one feels alone.

As a tele-therapy provider I offer the security of a private, confidential “office” with the ease of “meeting” you anywhere at times convenient to you. I understand that in today’s world, many clients’ schedules are dictated by jobs, family responsibilities, child-care, health, etc. which is why I strive to make my practice as easy for you as possible. Having raised four kids I know the challenges of balancing family and work. Online sessions are held from the safety of your home at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
Because issues that require speaking to a therapist almost always occur outisde of session, I try to be available when it's convenient for you. While I can't guarantee to be available around the clock, I do check my email and phone regularly and will get back to you as soon as possible. This sometimes means taking emergency sessions in the evenings or short conversations over the phone. Whatever the time or issue, we will figure out a way to connect.
